Lawry's Seasoning Salt is pretty good on hamburgers. Oddly enough Fiesta brand rubs has a Hamburger Rub. Can't comment on the Fiesta rub as I've not had it on a hamburger.

Montreal steak seasoning, and make a beer & onion hot tub to hold them in.
Never met a cow I didn't like with a little salt and pepper.

Yep what BluDawg said. Only I use beef broth instead of beer.
Add a couple chopped Jalapeños in the broth for a kick.
I think the "Hot Tub" is a Dutch Oven where you simmer the onions til soft. That's what I do.
I like to pull the onions and toss them on a flat top or in a CI skillet to caramelize them a bit.
You can mix in some sliced shrooms and add Swiss Cheese and Peppered Bacon. Serve it up on a toasted Onion Bun. Now ya got the ultimate burger. IMHO.
Don't skimp on the Montreal.

danger831, are ya Grillin' or Smokin' your burgers? Try smoked, they are GREAT.
