Pepperocini Beef

3-4 lb roast (anything on sale)
several cloves of garlic (to your liking)
1 jar Pepperoncinis (usually found in the Pickle asile at the grocery store, i use Mezzetta)
Provalone cheese

Slice garlic cloves into thirds lengthwise, make slits in the roast and insert garlic all over roast (depending on how much garlic you like) put roast into crockpot and pour pepperoncinis and liquid over roast, cook on low 6-8 hrs or until falling apart.
Serve on hoagie rolls with provolone or mozzerella cheese, and your choice of condiments. When making the sandwiches, place meat in rolls, cover with cheese, and zap in a microwave for a few seconds. Don't forget to use the pepperoncini in the sandwiches. Enjoy! We do!!!!

Texoma Beans
1 lb. pinto beans
1 lb. hamburger
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
2 tablespoons salt, or to taste
1 large onion, chopped
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1 four-ounce can of taco sauce
1 four-ounce can of green chiles
1 tablespoon of ketchup
1 number-two can of tomatoes

Wash and sort dried beans, then cover with water and bring to a boil. After they're boiling, turn heat off, put lid on, and let beans sit for two hours. Brown the hamburger meat, then add it and all other ingredients to the beans, and simmer in the crockpot for several hours until the beans are tender.

(I just toss everything in the crockpot and cook on low 8 hours- cook the ground beef before your trip and just toss in)
