Help on London Broil

Postby copkid » Sun Oct 24, 2010 12:40 pm

I researched the forum, but couldn't find what I was looking for, or I missed it. I have a top round steak, about 2lbs, that I want to grill up this evening. I know I need to sear fast, and keep to medium or medium rare, but I need some input on a possible marinade or seasonings. Hubby doesn't like a strong wooster based marinade, prefers meat fairly simple tasting. Any good suggestions? It is decently marbled, but all fat has been pretty much trimmed off, (by the store).
Help?

BluDawgs Bovine nectar

1 package McCormick Aus Jus
2 cups Coffee
2 tbl oliveoil
1 tbl bbq rub
1 tbl Worcestershire

coat the outside heavy with Balck pepper and very little K salt, mix it up the Bovine nectar and inject the meat grill "direct" over really hot coals 3 min per side rest for 10 min slice on the bias against the grain.
Never met a cow I didn't like with a little salt and pepper.
