This is a cool and refreshing dessert and easy to make.
Kiwi-Strawberry Cream Dessert
1 (14-ounce) can EAGLE BRAND® Sweetened Condensed Milk (NOT evaporated milk)
1 1/2 cups cold water
1 3 1/2 oz. package instant vanilla flavor pudding mix
2 cups (1 pint) whipping cream, whipped
1 small chocolate pan cake, cut into cubes (about 6 cups)
3 cups sliced fresh strawberries
2 cup sliced fresh Kiwi
Additional fresh strawberries and Kiwi for garnish
Toasted slivered almonds for garnish
1--- In large mixing bowl, combine EAGLE BRAND® and water; mix well. Add pudding mix; beat until well blended. Chill 5 minutes.
2--- Fold in whipped cream. Spoon 2 cups pudding mixture into 4-quart round glass serving bowl; top with half the cake cubes, half the strawberries, half the preserves and half the remaining pudding mix.
3--- Repeat layering, ending with pudding mixture. Garnish with additional strawberries and almonds. Chill 4 hours or until set. Store leftovers covered in refrigerator.
Servings: 10
Cooking Tips
You can use any type or flavor cake you like. We have used yellow cake and pound cake to make this.
Other fruits work well with this. I like making it with peach and apricots
This is really good with fresh berries. Blackberries-raspberries
