Love Peanut Butter pie. I have been known to drive 200 miles out of my way just to go to Big Bob Gibsons for Peanut Butter Pie. And of course, some BBQ.

here ya go - - - this is how Rocket gave it to us and he mentioned that he uses a pre-made graham craker crust which I have done "twice" with good success - - - I ALSO top mine with Cool Whip as you can see - - - as if it didn't have enuff calories to start with :dont: - - - - the worst part about these pies are the danger of eating the whole darned thing by yourself "Guilty" going on twice. :whiteflag:

OUP is correct, it's just easier to use a pre-made graham crust. We like the choclate graham crust the best!

Sure Pard:
Pick up pre-made Graham Cracker Crust at Store. I think I'll try Chocolate next time

Mix together:
3/4 cup Peanut Butter (I prefer Honey Peanut Butter)
4 ounces (half cup) of Cream Cheese (that's half of a package here in Texas)
8 ounces (one cup) of Cool Whip
8 ounces (one cup) of Powdered Sugar
(as an after thought Boots mentioned sprinkling in some Jack Daniels or equivalent)

Mix thoroughly and scrape into pie crust and spread evenly.
Top with more Cool Whip and put in Icebox for at least 2 hours.
Slice and eat but keep the remainder in Icebox for next meal.

hope there ain't no typos - - - Enjoy Pard

I recommend hand mixing the powdered sugar in until mixed well, then switch to a electric mixer if you have one. It takes effort to mix the cream cheese so I use the electric...
And prepare yourself for a peanut butter coma!

what He said - - - we only have two hand mixers and that mess just choked them down when I put the beaters to them - - - so it's spatula, wooden spoon and muscle power or nothing here in la casa - - - but still worth every ouch and oww
