Very Quick - Quick Bread

Postby OldUsedParts » Mon Oct 10, 2016 2:56 pm

Hey Y'all, there is a dry box mix by Krusteaz called Cranberry Orange Muffin Mix that can be done in a loaf pan which is how we like it. You just add 2 eggs, 1/2 cup water and 1/3 cup Canola to the dry mix dump in the cranberries and bake at 350 for less than an hour. There is also a fat free mix (shown below) that "Only" requires water and we actually like it better.

However, today I used the Muffin Mix because that's what the Wiffy picked up. :D This loaf will not last the day. :laughing7:

I'm with chris, a big lashing of butter, maybe a bit of raspberry jam? And preferably just out of the oven, drooling now.

replace the oil in most any recipe with applesauce especially in the cranberry cakes...now you have a "better for you" desert.
we have subbed chocolate cake and numerous others with good results.
