Dutch Oven Apple Cobbler

Postby tex_toby » Mon Nov 04, 2013 10:02 am

This cooler weather made me want to bust out my dutch oven last night in the backyard. A colleague of mine shipped me a box of apples from an orchard near his house in upstate New York and what better use of them before they go bad than to make a cobbler.

Looking good. I love Dutch oven cobbler. I was going to make some peach cobbler in mine on Saturday, but I haven't seen my lid since we moved in June. Makes me sick...

Oh man that looks good. Reminds me of my scouting days.
Thank You to all the fine folks here for all the tips and advice so I can now smoke a chunk of meat and folks actually eat it.
