Pumpkin Dip - 'tis the season!

Postby tex_toby » Mon Oct 11, 2010 4:01 pm

A friend of mine gave me this ultra-easy pumpkin dip recipe last year and it became an instant hit around my household.

2 cups of powdered sugar
1 8oz package of cream cheese
1 can pumpkin pie filling (same size can as you would buy corn, etc...)
1/2 tsp of Pumpkin Spice
1 tsp cinnamon

Mix until smooth and serve with ginger snaps.

Now - I'm not a huge pumpkin fan and I really don't like ginger snaps, but this combination together is UNBELIEVABLE! I made up a batch yesterday and ended up making myself sick by eating too much. It's a great dip to take to a fall party.

Summerset TRL 32" Built-In Grill
Weber Q2200

Bertello Pizza Oven

I can't always please everybody. I'm not bacon.

Glad you liked it, HJ! It really is addictive. I can't leave it alone when I make it. There is nothing healthy about it though. I do use light cream cheese, but with all that powdered sugar in there I don't know how I can even come close to making it healthy.

Nice bump TT. We're hosting a church gathering at the house early December - perfect.

TT - you can bump this any time. Made it last year and it was outstanding. Like you said - you can hurt yourself with this dip.

Thanks for the reminder.

I made my first batch of the year a few weeks ago for a family gathering. Always a hit, and YES, I ate too much of it again. :dont: :)
