2½ cup confectioners Sugar
2/3 cup milk
1/4 cup butter
12 ounces white chocolate coarsely chopped
1/2 tsp almond extract
3/4 cup DRIED cherries- cranberries- apricots (coarsely chopped ANY OR ALL~
3/4 cut toasted almond slices
Line an 8x8 inch square pan with foil. Grease or spray foil
Mix confectioners sugar, and milk in a heavy saucepan. do this
over medium heat. Add butter ñ stir constantly until
boiling. Boil 5 minutes without stirring. Lower heat and add
chocolate and almond extract. Stir, then whisk until smooth. Stir
in dried fruit and almond slices.
Pour into the prepared pan and cool somewhat. Place in
refrigerator for 2 hours.
Invert pan and peel off foil. Cut into 1 inch squares
Makes 36 squares
Note~ Instead of dried fruit use raisins or dried bananas- whatever u like using ONLY ¾ of a cup total.
