THIS is another way I came up with for Great Potatoes-that is delicious
Make side of Mashed Potatoes
cut potatoes -cut-cook till tender-drain
2 Poblano peppers-seeded -remove membranes-cut in half -microwave covered-till soft-drain-
remove skins when cooled -slice thin strips-set aside
Sauce
Take 1 can 14 oz. apppx. Las Palmas green chili sauce to a pan while potaotes cooking
add to pot
with 1/4 c. sour cream
3 T. dried chives
1 tsp. garlic granular
1 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. ACCENT
Wonda flour to make thick
-mixed well- bring to boil -whisking to desired thickness. Salt now to your taste-set aside
Start mashing potatoes only -add the above sauce to potatoes instead of milk to consisentcy you like
fold in strips of poblanos..
Use the sauce as a gravy or over meat this is great with pork chops-pork siroln chops-as a burrito with meat-pork n beef...Sauce is good drizzled over veggies...so make more n freeze..
For those who like it hotter use little serrano -seeded with poblano but tell you the truth..I would serve chopped serranos on the side -CAUSE the flavor is just right.. ENJOY
Try mixing whole corn drained -just don't cook corn in sauce.
