Tired of breakfast potatoes, then try this:

Salads, slaws, veggies, chili, soup, anything you serve with a meal.

Tired of breakfast potatoes, then try this:

Postby DATsBBQ » Sun Sep 06, 2009 1:36 pm

While prepping some spuds for breakfast and I came up with an idea. Pics, well its a should've/could've/would've thing but they turned out pretty.

Slice/chunk spuds for breakfast potatoes -your choice.
Put spuds in a sauce pan along with 1 can of chicken broth, 1 tsp Turmeric, a little pepper and shake or two of garlic powder. Add enough water to cover. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer till nearly done. (10 -15 minutes). Drain and let set with cover off to coo till no longer steamingl. Then fry up like you would hash-browns.
