Salads, slaws, veggies, chili, soup, anything you serve with a meal.

foil pack side, a favorite of everyone I know

Postby WakeboarderJeff » Wed Jul 29, 2009 12:24 pm

I figured since I came asking for advice I would share one of my best sides. This is so easy to make and sooooo yummy.

I take 2 hash brown patties that you buy at the store, and sandwich cheese and onion between them. Then just coat them in butter and wrap em up in foil, throw em on the grill and done. If you like it spicy use pepper jack and jalapenos. If you don't want to use butter, be sure to coat the foil with Pam or the hash browns will stick. Enjoy :D

Your welcome guys, give em a try and lemme know what ya think.

jedeuce1, A ham slice would be a nice touch, sounds good. I think I'm going to try precooked bacon next time around and see how that does. I'm going camping for a week for my b-day in Aug. going to try the bacon out then. I'll get some pics and let you guys know how they turn out.

Jeff, made some last night.(Sorry no photos). They were super good, I used white cheddar cheese and sweet onion slices. I will make them again soon. I see a lot of possibility for trying new ingredients. CF :D

Glad you liked 'em Chili. :) The next time I do them I'm going to try bacon with a smoked cheddar and green onions.

We go to Conestoga lake, it's really small, but stays smooth as butter most of the day. Best part is it is only 15 minuets from my house.
