Surprise a bit earlier, cornbread turned up just before my son came to have lunch with me at home. Emm took time to mail me so now my son wants to try some as well. I believe oups putting up a recipe for me to follow. I can't wait to try this, have to dig out my skillet now,lol.
You guys here rock, I just love how food brings people together, thanks again emm, I really appreciate it.

I'm going to do some Cabbage Patch Stew (a la OUP) today and I'll certainly be fixin a skillet of some of the Sweet Yeller and do a little mini-tutorial on how we duz'em

Never have come face to face with "OUP" but he is definitely one of the good guy's.

So his secret recipe is now outta the bag.......

We gotta fix that, Pal, maybe one day at Chicken Oil or even in Baytown when I'm visiting my best friend. As far as being a good guy goes, if that's true, then I find myself in the Majority on this Forum and it has helped nurture some of the more important characteristics that I seemed to have lost until I began hanging out here.

Did someone make OUP blush? Yes, he befriended me from day one when he had no reason to. A shining example of the caliber of this forums members.
However, that does in no way hinder me from a friendly dig whenever I can get one in. That's why this place is so much fun.

Can't wait to try this later.
