Cheese boards

Postby Kiwiruss » Mon May 08, 2017 8:39 pm

Do you guys do cheese boards at all? And what's on yours. Mine is usually a local factory, masdaam, havarti, aged cheddar with crackers , pickled gherkins curry onions salami and home made pâté. The plate doesn't last long.

Russ we do them from time to time when we have folks over for sporting events. I have a board that I line up with a couple of different crackers, as well as 2 or 3 cheeses, mainly sharp cheddar and usually a swiss. And complete it with venison summer sausage and sliced ham. Once in a while sliced turkey as well. And your right, they don't last long. Beef sticks are real popular over here as well so I also cut those up in to bite size chunks and use those also
