Postby Hj » Mon Jun 06, 2011 12:20 pm

1 lb. bag of Frozen French Fries size U like
1 c. Colby Jack cheese shredded
6 bacon slices fried drain crumble
24 fl. ozs. peanut oil

Heat oil to 365° F. ( If Not using a thermostat- make sure oil is hot enough (when a french fry is placed in oil it will cook immediately. If french fry sinks to bottom, and barely bubbles, it is not hot enough. Fry potatoes in small batches, cooked when they are golden brown, and float to top of skillet or deep fryer. Drain potatoes well on paper towels. Again-remember to bring oil up to heat each batch n use fresh oil.

Keep them warm in low heated oven while other fries being fried.

When all fries are cooked and drained, place them onto a platter. Salt fries or not and sprinkle on cheese
with cooked bacon. Pop these back into a warm oven until cheese begins to melt.

Dipping Sauce~

1/2 c. sour cream
1 T. prepared horseradish
dash cayenne pepper
dash salt
dash black pepper
I add little garlic granular to taste n fresh choppped chives Hj
Place all together and mix well

Note~ Always bring oil up to heat before cooking more batches of fries.'
Also try these with MALT VINGER with out the cheese!
A mistake is sometimes a great creation
