Postby Hj » Mon Dec 13, 2010 9:49 am

1 Jimmie Dean Tube Hot sausage
2 c. Bisquick
8 oz. pkg. cheddar cheese shredded
Preheat oven 375 ° F.

Place all in a bowl -mix well all together with clean hands or use gloves – this is hard to mix well- so be patient. After mixed –make cheese -sausage balls about ¾” to 1” –place on greased baking sheet or on sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake about 20 minutes-turning often. Makes about 36 to 40 balls.
Note~ place toothpicks in each one on a platter serve with a cocktail sauce of horseradish- ketchup-little lemon juice- 1 couple drops of Worcestershire sauce salt ñ coarse black pepper.

Great for parties

These are great and a family favorite. We made these on Thanksgiving and popped them in the smoker. It adds another level of flavor.

For the true experience try dipping them in a little maple syrup.
