Chili Roasted Potatoes n More Goodies with them on the grill

Large russet potatoes wash ñ leave skins on*
olive oil
ground chile powder Gebhardt’s brands

Slice potato into rounds about 1/4 thick-place in a bowl- drizzle on the oil or rub them -coat a little - salt ñ pepper well.
Lay on a sheet pan ñ dust with lots of chili powder all over.

Place in hot 325 ° F. oven - bake 30 minutes- check half way-don’t want to burn the chile powder.

Remove ñ turn slices-bake 30 minutes more- turn off oven ñ leave there at least 45-1 hr more.

These are great on the grill-off to the side- turn often (~*leaving them whole not cut -see below

Serve with sour cream with little dry ranch dressing mixed as a snack or side dish.

Note~ * like to make slices in the WHOLE potatoes (like baking them before grilling ñ oiling n shove slices of any of the following or both bacon cut in pieces ñ thin slices of garlic deep into the potatoes. Can add some slices of onion in side also. Suppose U could add bacon -garlic n onion to the cut potatoes also because they are on the baking sheet. Make sure if using the baking sheet to line with foil for easy clean ups.

Can wrap potatoes with bacon after they are cooked through some hold bacon on with tooth picks.
