Honey Walnut Salmon

1 1/2 tsps. cornstarch
2 1/4 tsps. butter, melted
1 tsp. worcestershire sauce
2 Tbls. honey
1 Tbls. dijon mustard
dash white pepper
2 salmon fillets 4 oz. each
1/4 cup chopped walnuts


In a small bowl, combine cornstarch, butter and worcestershire sauce until smooth. Stir in honey, mustard and pepper. Place salmon in heavy foil ( enough to fold and seal) Drizzle with honey mixture and sprinkle with walnuts. Fold foil around salmon and seal. Bake at 400 for 20 minutes.

Very close to the way we do ours with the main differance being we grill it over an open flame.

Brush Salmon steaks with peanut oil and grill. Towards end of grillin, brush with maple syrup and sprinkle with S&P. pull off grill and hit with dollop of walnut butter mix.
