Updated - Busted Blackened Tilapia recipe

Postby Gator » Sun Mar 09, 2008 8:13 pm

I updated the recipe for cards that are being printed to be included in my gift boxes. We had these tonight and again - none left, even the 4 year old ate all of his fish! Texas Heat does just the right trick and don’t forget the lemon. Best of this entire recipe only takes about 5 minutes from start to finish!

I have never really liked blackened fish but I believe this recipe might change that. Always seemed like the blackened fish crust was in a word....burnt.

I did Hoochie Mama on Mahi Mahi and it turned out great! I called it "Hoochie Mahi Mahi" of course. :D

I bought a big ol' bottle of the stuff, so Im trying it on everything. So far I have done lamb chops, smoked burgers, steaks, fish, shrimp, and even tofu (the wife is vegetarian). It has never let me down! The only thing I haven't done is pork, but I have a whole bottle of Hog Waller to go through first! :P

looks great Gator. I had some red snapper the other night and the Habanero pepper sauce hit it on the head! Fantastic!!
