Lobster Tails for dinner

We spent yesterday taking our momma's out to dinner for momma's day. So tonight I cooked Teresa her Mother's Day dinner.

I split them open, brushed on a little butter sauce and sprinkled on a light dusting of cajun seasoning mainly for color and cooked em at 375 for 14 minutes. Served em with sautéed zucchini and yellow squash and baked taters with a side of butter dipping sauce. This was my first go at lobster tails. I've been missing out!

Thanks guys. I've had it before but it's been a while. Forgot how good they are! My HEB had them on sale- $5 each. I couldn't pass it up.

We have crayfish here, the tails the same but the biting end is a bit different, no big claw. I get mine for nothing from a friend in kaikoura who goes out and gets them. I like them with a salad. But my fave sammy is mashed egg n slices of cray tail. Bit of thousand island dressing. Man it's good. Hope to taste a Maine lobster one day!!

Once u try ( Maine ) lobster ( Lobstah ) you will never want another type Russ.
I've lived in Jersey 37 years and Pa 10 years and till this day I will argue with anyone that tells me Jersey shore seafood ( especially lobster ) even comes close to comparing to cold water Maine Lobstah...
If you're ever on the East coast make sure you check the coast of Maine out, you will love all the seafood from there !
Make sure you get some of thier famous wild blueberry jam as well ! All good stuff.

Also before I forget, Welcome !!

Sorry I'm late for that, been running like crazy lately !!

Fanatic.
Looks excellent !
From someone that eats probably too much lobster, I can tell you that you will probably love lobster cooked over coals or lump wrapped in foil with butter and Old Bay ( if you like that seasoning ) .
They won't take long at all and just after you unwrap them, put them directly on the grate for a minute or so each side and hit with a little finely grated cheese.

One if my favorite ways to eat these #

Definitely looks great. I haven't had a good lobster tail in ages. Last one I had was grilled over mesquite.. Man oh man..
