I haven't met a fish yet that wasn't tasty, unless the person who cooked it was clueless!

They're big in Wisconsin near Lake Michigan. All you can eat for a few bucks. Misleading, cause those oily things will fill you up fast.

What is wahoo and redfish? And just out of curiosity, what makes a speckled trout better than any other? Not being a smartie pants, just curious. I don't get to try lots of different varieties. I want to try mahi mahi so bad! Is it really good? Texture??

A trout is a trout is a trout. IMHO it makes little difference be it Speckled, Cut Throat, Rainbow (a fav amongst the :censor: ) or Lake :deadhorse:

My fish eating experiences are limited, but I do like Red Snapper, Tilapia and fried catfish (as long as it's prepared right with good sides).

Love shrimp and grilled king crab legs and crab cakes as well.

Redfish is a saltwater fish also know as a Red Drum.
Here is my wife with her first keeper redfish from our anniversary trip last month.

As for the Speckeled Trout, it is also a saltwater species, and is a delicious fish when cooked on the grill or fried. Here is another pic of Lisa with her first keeper speck from the same trip.

Wahoo is a deep saltwater fish caught while trolling, I haven't had wahoo since we caught on while we lived in Grand Cayman. We "steaked" it out and cooked it on the grill. So dang good!!! Here is a wahoo....

Mahi Mahi, is one of my new favorites. I have had it a couple times blackened with a Ponchatrane (sp?) sauce. I have not had the chance to catch a Mahi Mahi, but hopefully soon......

As you can see I love to fish, and love to eat the fish we catch (when possible), good stuff.

Son #1 is a pro walleye fisherman but unfortunately lives in Wisconsin but when I go up there I get loaded down with walleye and salmon.
Here are his daughters with their catch.
