6 chicken Wings n thighs boneless and skinless*
Marinade
1 c. bourbon whiskey
1/2 c. dark brown sugar firmly packed
1 c. ketchup
2 T. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 c. cider vinegar
1 T freshly-squeezed lemon juice
3 garlic cloves minced
1/2 tsp. dry mustard or ur taste
Salt n pepper to taste
Place chicken breasts, single layer, into an ungreased 13x9-inch baking dish.
Large bowl- combine marinade ingredients together. Pour bourbon marinade over chicken. Cover - marinate at room temperature 20 to 30 minutes or refrigerate to marinate longer (turning meat over several times.
Preheat oven 325 F.
Bake chicken -with marinade- uncovered 20 to 30 minutes or until juices will run clear when cut with the tip of a knife basting several times during cooking. Or cook to crispier texture. Remove from oven n serve immediately.
Notes - Once in awhile I add little prepared horseradish or touch of Wasabi Powder n mix well to marinade. OR use just some hot sauce.
When I make just the wings I bake till crisper n make little extra marinade -adding cornstarch n place on stove -letting it thicken up for dipping sauce.
