1 lb. chicken thighs or other boneless skinless chicken pieces
boneless skinless cut in bite-size chunks
1/2 c. soy sauce
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. garlic granular
1 tsp. powdered ginger
2 T. dried onion flakes
1/2 c. bourbon ( favorite burbon
2 T. white wine
Mix all marinade ingredients- EXCEPT white wine in a zip lock bag.
Put chicken pieces in bag.
Refrigerate at least several hours (preferably overnight.
Bake chicken 350 F. 1 hour in single layer- basting with marinade every 10 minutes.
Remove chicken.
Scrape pan juices with all the brown bits n pour into skillet.
Add any remaining marinade m add 2 Tbls. white wine to skillet.
Heat - add chicken.
Boil 1 minute - serve over cooked rice- or as an appetizer with individual toothpicks in each piece of chicken.
Note ~ Using breast meat with recipe is too dry in my opinion.
