Grilled Honey Lime Beer Chicken

Postby Hj » Thu Oct 22, 2009 9:53 am

4 chicken breast halves skinless- boneless -any chicken
1 limes juiced
1) 12 oz. bottle pale ale style beer
1 tsp. honey
salt n pepper to taste
3 T. cilantro fresh chopped

Shallow bowl- mix together lime juice- beer- honey- cilantro- garlic granular-salt n pepper. Place chicken into the mixture cover- marinate 1 hour or more.
Remove chicken from marinade,- place on grill. Grill about 8 minutes on each side- or until juices run clear- the internal temperature of meat reaches 175 degrees F.

Notes~sometimes I use a splash of Maggi sauce(use soy if can't find-add SALT than only if needed AFTER GRILLING. For a touch of zing add little cayenne pepper or chipotle powder in marinade. I have added pineapple juice about a splash to marinade also...that was delicious.
A mistake is sometimes a great creation
