Aloha y'all,
Here is a recipe with an Asian flavor. Very simple and flavorful....
Soy Sauce Chicken
6 chicken thighs, with bone and skin
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup soy sauce
1 glove garlic, minced
piece of ginger, 1" long slightly crushed
Place all ingredients in a saucepan, bring up to a boil. Lower heat, cover and simmer for about 30 minutes or until tender.
You can adjust the amount of sugar and soy sauce to your taste.
Excellent over steamed rice with side of hot or cold veggies, or a greeen salad...
