I know we all don't cook flash meals all the time but one of my fave brunch and also a quick dish is an omelette. This is my fave. First I put some butter and sauté some mushrooms n bacon in a pan. This precooked the shrooms and makes it taste better. Then I get 2 free range eggs and whisk with 2 tablespoons of cream. Add pepper chopped tomatoes spring onions then add shrooms and bacon and add some grated cheese. Cook on the stovetop then finish under the grill.

I had one last Sunday. Heaven and a quick fix. What do you guys put in yours?

Hmmmm never gave the Texas taste a thought for an omelette. Next one will contain some lone star flavourings.

Most eateries, tho not as good a homemade, call them "Southwest Omelette"

Ok I'm gunna do a southwest omelette for the two us next time. Sounds kinda flashy too. I'll be the southwest omelette guy. My daughter in law is one of my best critics and praises of my cooking. She said to me over Christmas how spoilt she was having me doing all the cooking while we all shared a house over summer hols. I think she will love a southwest omelette.

only thing better than the taste are the smiles

Lotsa smiles over our hols in mapua, grand kids used me as their private chef,lol. I'll have mushrooms on toast gang gang, I'll just have an egg please gang gang.lol. Eldest couldn't say granddad as a kid so gang gang has stuck. It's funny as.
