1 whole chicken rinsed in ñ out
1 can beer large about ¾ full
Dry rub~
2 T. salt
2 T. onion powder
1 T. garlic granular
1 to 2 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
Combine all dry rub ingredients together.
Take a good swig of the beer from can. Using a
church key make several more openings in the top of can. Rub
outside ñ inside of chick with dry rub. Remainder of dry rub
is placed into beer can. If will foam- don’t worry!
Preheat oven 350° F. or use grill to medium indirect heat.
Spread chickens legs - place beer can in anal opening (with remaining beer in can pull chick
down over beer can -far enough to make a tri-pod. Careful not spill any beer n rub out of can.
Place chicken on a pizza pan or iron flat skillet- cook either in oven 90 minutes or on
grill the same amount of time.
~Using the grill –add mesquite smoke chips or ur choice of chips.
Remove chick from beer can - Enjoy.

No question is ever stupid! More reasons than one.
Different states have same things different names
Plum tomatoes in the east are PLUM
West coast called Roma tomatoes -"same thing".
Potatoes patomatoes...lol..
Garlic granular is granulated n more grainy type n powder is just powdery.. prefer the granular only because I know granular size n I judge amounts by that....Preference call for me for most time I Never measure...n I know using a large pinch of small pinch is either about 1 tsp. or more -granular I see amount like coarse pepper better when using...Hope this helps.
