Wonder if adding cup of shredded Cheddar would be over the top?

Dats--I have never tried cheese on the inside but, I'm thinking that it might make it hard for the eggs to cook right. the melted cheese might make it to runny inside to cook right, since the eggs aren't scrambled. Try a little and see but I think 1 cup would be way too much, maybe 1/4 cup-spread between the top layer of ham and the top dough.

that sounds like a winner for christmas morning. wonder if you could get it all ready the night before and just pop it in the oven in the morning.
