Easters come early

Postby Kiwiruss » Fri Apr 07, 2017 6:43 pm

We normally celebrate easter here with family but sons going to be at a wedding, so tomorrow I'm doing a ham glazed.
Pics to follow, 5.5kg ham with glaze.

Oven, it's already cooked so just heating through and putting the glaze on, for anyone that's interested the glaze is

250 ml jack Daniels
250 ml apricot sauce
250 ml maple syrup
Approx 75 to 100 ml multigrain mustard.

Baste every 15 mins. This is the best glaze I've ever had, and I've had a few. My mate who will be working has asked for some slices and the glaze leftover sauce. He reckons it will be gone though, lol.

Nice cook, Pard, I don't know what it is but I hardly ever cook ham except during the Holidays and I could use a good Ham Bone right now :salut:
