1 lb. ground beef
2-3 links of your favorite sausage , cut into 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch slices
1-14.5 oz can diced tomatoes , drained
two garlic cloves diced
any type spahgetti sauce
1 hot chille pepper your choice more or less depending on how sweaty ya wanna make it
two pie crusts
1 small can tomatoe paste
Place olive oil in hot skillet , add garlic and ground beef .
Brown ground beef and drain fat off , brown the sausage and drain fat off . Combine beef and sausage , add diced tomatoes and chilli pepper to mixture . Add spagehtti sauce , it should be a somewhat thick consistincy not thin and runny , add tomatoe paste and mix it all up reall good . Lightly grease deep dish pie plate and place 1 pie crust in deep dish pie plate , place mixture on top of first crust , then place second crust over top of mixture . Crimp edges with fingers , cut slits in top middle of crust . Place in oven at 350 Degrees till crust is golden Brown . When done , slice like pie and serve , good on a cold new england day .

I'm thinking you might have entered the wrong name for this recipe? When I think of anything Mexican I don't envision spaghetti sauce. Maybe its Italian Meat Pie?

I thought of substituting a mild or medium picante for the sauce. Sounds easy and quick. May have to try it some time!

I'm thinking the filling in this..... store bought ready pie crust (rolled)... cut in quarters. Fill with that filling, fold over and crimp with fork.... then deep fry! Serve with some hot cheese dip. Thanks for the recipe!
