Crockpot Steak

Postby madmax52 » Sat Dec 01, 2012 6:19 pm

So today I threw 2 thin cut t-bones that my wife bought from somewhere and a ribeye in the crockpot with a can of french onion soup, a beef base ( i forget what its called) and some sliced potatoes. Let it cook for about 7 hours on low heat. It turned out pretty decent.

I seared the steaks real quick on each side before I threw them in the pot.

Sounds good to me.
I'll give up my crockpot when they pry it away from
my cold,dead,cheap/tough meat buyin' hands.

Those two words should never be used together EVER!
Never met a cow I didn't like with a little salt and pepper.

Well they were and I did. I would have much rather grilled them, but I didn't have the time to fire up the grill and go through that whole rigamorole.
