Any body need anything special? I should be there on Friday hopefully early! I have not really looked at the weather and heard mixed reviews, so I am going to pick up a generator...I guess.

Bluz you still having a gathering at your camp? If so what do we need to bring?

Got our first call in our first comp.

10th place in ribs!!

Out of 73 teams, we were pretty stoked. Lynn you did an amazing job with the amount of teams there. One thing I was pretty impressed with was the timing was pretty much right on schedule, even with the influx of teams right at the very end showing up. You found plenty of judges, and kept things moving right along.

If it weren't for some idiot hollering for Milo at 5:00 in the morning, everything would have come off without a hitch.

It was so great meeting and hanging out with a bunch of great folks from this forum. I sampled some excellent BBQ from the folks in here.

Congrats to The Fishing Forum Team!!!! Great job and thanks for yall's hospitality. We had a great time and even though we only hit a final table in Chicken it was still a great time had by all. Thanks for a well run cookoff, and we will be back to give it another shot next year. Congrats to all that placed.

It was a pleasure meeting you guys! We will have to do it again, and next time Bluz I will come eat at your place! We were honestly surprised we did not get one call, after getting 3 in our first comp last year! Oh well do it again and I don't plan on changing anything.

I know we tasted that winning brisket....put some salt on it I guess is the key...people love salt and beer and not so meat :?:
