Smoke on the Beach Pic's

Postby Larry Wolfe » Thu Apr 26, 2007 5:41 am

I meant to post these before now, but totally forgot. These are pic's from last weekend Smoke on the Beach Competition. We came in a disappointing 8th out of 32 teams. The pork was the best we'd ever tasted.

Friday's lunch was grilled London Broil, red onion and sweet potatoes, the virgin cook for the Primo. I didn't get the pic's of the onions and sweet potatoes cause we started getting busy. Plus I had an excruciating headached all weekend and I was pretty grouchy.

Our Anything Butt turn in. Fire roasted vegetable gazpacho with grilled toast points with manchego cheese and grilled shrimp basted with Reverend Marvins and Honey. We won with this two years ago, but placed 5th this go around. We were very happy with the results again but some cake won!!

I think 8th out of 32 sounds pretty darn good! The food looked great!

Looks like a great time. Did you use the pork from the Primo or WSM for turn in? Someone should tell nick that there's a cure for grey
