First competition

Well guys, I am pround to say that after 10 years of smoking as a hobby I finally entered my first competition. We entered the Possum Fest BBQ cookoff at Possum Kingdom Lake. It was a great event had a ton of fun and managed to take home 2nd place in brisket!! Cant even begin to tell you guys how tickled I am!!!!

PK is west of Minerwells, its a cool area that is surrounding a really beautiful lake. I am not sure exactly how many teams, i believe it was around 30.

Well, I know one thing, I AM HOOKED!! Although it took me most of the weekend to fully recover from Friday night......I hope to meet some of you guys at some future events!!
