I wanted to put this up over here and see if we can get some cookers from this site to come help. The Ft. Hood event is for the 3rd ACR, the same men and women that we cooked for 18 months prior when they were being deployed to Iraq. The Brook Army event is for all of the injured troops and their caregivers in San Antonio. If you can come out we would love to have you out with us, if yo cant cook or dont want to tow your rig we can always use your help elsewhere. Thanks for considering it, they deserve it!
The dates are listed below....

Getting close to time for the Brook Army Medical Center BBQ For The Troops event. Getting excited! Just had more donations 200# of chicken, 100# ribs, and 100# sausage to go along with the 25 briskets. Gonna be a good one.

Fellows looking at those pics will make a grown man cry. Man I can't even think of the right words to describe what a priviledge that must have been to do this deed, for our troops. Although I hold down a full time job as most do on here, I and my pit would love to be a part of these type of events. Feel free to pm me when you have any events again for the troops, and I will do whatever I can to come and cook along side of you'all.

I don't know how I missed this. Please let me know via PM or email should the opportunity arise again - I will rearrange plans to be there.
