Howdy all, just shilling shamelessly for the Big D BBQ Battle, June 8-9 in Addison Circle Park, Addison Texas, with $3,500 in guaranteed purse money (paying through the first 3 places in each category). Teams, Vendors, and Food Truck Vendors are welcome!

First off…THANK YOU for taking on the “Call to Battle” at the 5th Annual Big D BBQ Battle! These are exciting times! The North Dallas Chamber of Commerce will again be hosting the 2018 event with our great partners the Town of Addison at Addison Circle Park on Friday, June 8 and Saturday, June 9. Space is filling up, If you have NOT filled out an entry form or confirmed PLEASE do so…below you will find several details for the event and tasks that will need to be addressed on your part as participating companies:
Information:
• Date: Friday, June 8 and Saturday, June 9
• Brisket, Chicken, Pinto beans, Pork shoulder, Ribs…and “People’s Choice” (New) will be prepared by participating teams (See rules)
• An expected crowd of 5,000+
• Portion of proceeds go to Guns & Hoses Foundation of North Texas
• B2B and B2C networking over “fire and flame”
• Local businesses helping make the North Dallas area a better place to live, work and raise a family
• Local vendors, including meat and beer
o At this time beer will be provided by: Bitter’s Sisters Brewing Company, Oak Highlands Brewery, and Tupps Brewery
• 50+ cooking/promotional spaces teams
• Car Show Midway - Off road, classic and sports car show
• Kids Zone
• Music and festival atmosphere
• Rain or shine event
• “People’s Choice (New)
The first 1000 attendees will be choosing our “People’s Choice” category! (Note the attached rules)

As in the past, we will be presenting promo codes for reduced event tickets when applicable

o We are now in the Town of Addison and the Health Department requirements are very like the requirements in the past with the City of Dallas.
