4th Annual Shotgun Fred BBQ Showdown

We are excited to announce that the 4th Annual Shotgun Fred BBQ Showdown will be held February 16th -18th, 2017 at the Walker County Fairgrounds in Huntsville, Tx. This will be a KCBS Sanctioned event with a guaranteed $10,000 payout. The entry fee for this event will be $300 with an 85 team limit. A $50 deposit will lock in your entry, with the remainder to be paid out at $50 per month. All spots are 40' x 40' with water and electricity. There are limited spots available with 50 amp service for $20 per day upgrade charge. We look forward to seeing everyone! shotgunfredbarbeque.com

I can't wait for the season to start. I signed up for Shotgun Fred, Humble Rodeo, and now an IBCA contest next weekend in downtown houston. Who needs time to rest?

Exciting news!! Once again we will be a Preferred Qualifier of the World Food Championship in the BBQ Category! What does this mean to our cooks? Our Grand Champion will receive a Golden Ticket to compete in the World Food Championship BBQ Category and will also receive $1,000 upon check in at the WFC! Looking forward to seeing everyone!!
