Cookoffs this weekend?
In central Texas looking to cook this weekend. Even non sanctioned is okay. I only see Houston and Lubbock, but those are too far away.

I don't know of any this weekend. There's one September 18th & 19th in Elgin (VFW BBQ & Chili Cook-off). LSBS sanctioned.

I thought that was the Hog Eye Festival, but the festival is next month

The Hogeye is in October (3rd weekend I believe). We have the VFW bbq & (cowboy) chili cook-off in September.
