1st Annual Cookoff @ REVELRY ON RICHMOND

REVELRY ON RICHMOND is a new bar in the museum district and we are hosting our first cook off on Saturday, 01.24.2015!!
We welcome anyone and are looking forward to a successful event!

Here are the Rules:


Date of cook off is January 24th, 2015
Each team is required to pay a $25 entry fee to hold your spot. This $25 will be reimbursed in the form of a prepaid bar tab.
Each team may have up to 3 people
Each team must provide all cooking equipment. We will provide water. We recommend a small tent in case of rain.
Each team will be given a 10 x 10 cooking area.
Teams can begin setting up at 10am.
Nothing can be precooked except stock and roux. Ingredients may be pre chopped. A judge will come by to inspect ingredients. Once that has happened, you may begin cooking.
No rice is allowed in the gumbo you turn in. No beans are allowed in the chili you turn in. These ingredients may be added after you submit you entry.
No team may bring alcohol onto the premises. All drinks must be purchased through the bar.
We would like for each team to cook enough for our patrons to taste your work; 1.5 gallons should be enough.
Prizes will be the following: 1st place gumbo and 1st place chili will each receive a $100 gift card and a trophy. 2nd place will receive a $50 gift card. People’s choice will get a $25 gift card.
