DFW Comps???

I have spent my night looking for competitions around the DFW area. I have a good list and have sent an email to my guys to see which ones they want to enter. But I noticed something.

Is it just me or are most of the competitions in Central and South Texas? It's like 10-1. Just curious as to why this is. Or am I wrong?

LOL, no, you're right on. There aren't that many up here. Just not enough businesses, orgs, etc, who want to take on one of these, or have the facilities to host and accommodate everyone. It's Suburbia up here. There are few places to have these, and the Suburbianites tend to dog and complain more than they do in the small towns outside the Dallas area. It's just harder to put one on in this area. Not sure if that answered your question?

i wish they had more up here! Looking at the list i dont think we have one until February?

Yeah, but they tend to taper off everywhere until late January to early February, and then before March there are only a few contests, none in our area. I don't think, anyway, unless new ones have been added. The first one for our team is the one in Waxahachie. It's too dang cold to do 'em before then, anyway...lol.
