Good deal! I actually talked to him on the phone right after that, I'd had a couple of unrelated questions. He's excited about the event, and it should be a fun time. And he mentioned being able to come in anytime after about noon. It's in the same place he had the car show in May, and the parking lot is huge.

does Kevin do the competitions too? I am still fairly new with competitions so hope to meet a lot of new friends!

Also, are you guys setting up a canopy? If its in the parking lot I didnt think there would be a place to tie it down (dirt)

I could be wrong but I don't think he does, I just think if he was at a comp it was probably at Lynn's recommendation (or maybe his own) so that he'd know how the operating rhythm, and what to expect. I don't think this particular event has been done before there, it's a first.

You'll definitely want a pop-up with some shade tomorrow during the day, and this afternoon, if you get there early enough. The sun will zap ya...lol. It's in an asphalt parking lot, but I don't believe there is supposed to be high winds today or tomorrow.
