KYFA Smoke in the Park (Aug 15-16) Kirbyville, TX

We would like to invite you guys to be a part of our IBCA Sanctioned BBQ Event Friday August 15th and Saturday 16th during our Kirbyville Youth Football BBQ Cook-off. Proceeds from event go towards 5-12 year old safety and training equipment for our Youth Football teams. Our teams doubled from 2 flag, 2 tackle teams to 4 flag, 4 tackle teams this year so we need new equipment. Angel San Juan, Vanessa Holmes, and Jim "King of the Road" are some of the local celebrities that are going to be there judging during the BBQ contest with more to follow, so this event will be a great public relations event as well for everyone involved. Championship Competition BBQ teams are coming in from all over Texas and Louisiana to compete in this great event.
Competition Entry fee is only $95 plus a donated appr. 10lb brisket. There is a 100% payout on the $95 Entry Fee which will be distributed to the top 3 in each category. 60/30/10.
There will be side events Friday night: Hamburgers ($20 entry) Desserts ($10 entry). Please email for more details on these events.
Entertainment lined up so far is Scott Desormeaux who will perform at 11am and Bronco Jr. who will perform at 2pm Saturday August 16th. Curse and the Cure will play following our awards ceremony. More entertainment will be posted soon as well.
We will have washer and horseshoe tournaments on Saturday August 16th.
We still need BBQ teams, Sponsors and Vendors for this event. Vendor spots are only $30 for Friday night/Saturday.
