How are my terms not good enough???? Its as simple as it gets!!! He who has the points wins the money, the exact same as any points standing for GC and RGC at any cookoff, why do you cook any cookoffs, seems like the rules are bent in their favor!

You're a coward, I don't like you and called you out. This isn't about the money for me, I'll make it even easier for you, if I win I will donate all $2k to the charity of the forums choice.

I prefer this one personally

We'll let the forum decide.

Well you know what they say, if you can't beat em, join em. With that said, I believe the terms are more than fair. $1k each into the hands of a neutral 3rd party. Cook your meat, turn it in, show up to awards. Person with most overall points takes the cash and bragging rights. Loser gracefully admits other cook was better and waits 1 yr to re-challenge.

On a side note, this is a BBQ forum, and we are talking BBQ. So stop with the personal attacks on who makes more money or who's wife is the bread winner. It has no relevance to this BBQ FORUM.

I wasnt even going to cook Meridian... but after seeing this fiasco. I just might make the trip if you 2 can ever agree on terms.

No worries guys, Think ya'll are going to have to cook side by side at another cookoff for a sidebet of a bottle of scotch or case of beer with the winner getting his pic on the forumn. Think the p_ssing match needs to stop right now. You are either going to cook Meridian for the bragging rights or cook elsewhere for the extra money. That simple. Lets get back to the thread fellas.
How bout some more beans Mr.Taggert? I'd say you've had enough!

I'd attend just to meet and greet but its 275 miles from Paradise Island....can't bring myself to take on such a roadtrip. FIW, the Mrs. makes 25X more than what I bring in. Then again she is gainfully employed and I'm a full time student. I wished she made 50X more. Good luck to all the cooks and may the un-sauced ribs win!

Deleted?! As long as it wasn't bad language why was it deleted? Just because everyone doesn't agree with it don't we as members have the rite to "agree to disagree"? Without being deleted? Are we now being censored ?!
