We changed it up a little, cut back on the front heat, upped the back heat, extra garlic, less starting liquid, more salt

Yup, been working very well for me as well. I burnt them a tad this past weekend and was somehow still 13 out of 64. Out of the money, but heck if I had only paid attention to the darn pot.
