Just wondering if anybody has looked ahead to this event? It is my hometown and will be my first comp cook with my new rig. I would love to meet fellow TBBQF members. I have always attended the event as a spectator and it's a fun time. They even have a horseshoe tournament on Saturday weather permitting.

IBCA sanctioned event: March 14 & 15, West, TX
$15,000 total guaranteed prize money.
$150 entry fee includes electricity (150 sites).
Kids cook off and Slovacek's wild card sausage on Friday night.

We'll be there for sure! I'm certain many many members from here will be there as well.

The West cookoff always draws a fine bunch of teams. You should be able to meet up with quite a few forum members.

I've had my eye on this one. Heard its a good one so I might have to make the haul.

So I'm all signed up and ready to roll. Rumor around town and the bakery, it's expected to be the largest cook off yet. Feel free to stop on by and drink a beverage or two. I hope to pull in Friday before lunch.
