Anyone cooking. I'm thinking about going to look around. Anyone willing to show me the ropes? Not looking for recipes more of just seeing a team up close.

We had a blast at Keller last weekend! Definitely on the list for next year!
Finished 4th overall with a 2nd place chicken and 6th place ribs
I butchered the brisket, one of the worst Ive cooked, I put it on and hour and a half earlier than I usually do and still had problems getting it done.
Oh well, good times!

Congrats on the walks,Think I was on sitting next table over at the awards, 9th beans, 8th brisket, finals on ribs. Also won the last case of assorted liquors Friday night. It was hard cook with the weather and I also had problems with the brisket as well. Big shout out to Sucklebusters ( Gator)on the finishing sauce and rubs as well as Big Country BBQ bovine dust( Big Dave), Good stuff.
How bout some more beans Mr.Taggert? I'd say you've had enough!

Re: Keller Oct 5,6
Thanks!
I thought the weather was going to wreak havoc on my pit with the wind constantly changing, oddly enough it ran as good or better than it ever has, my temp was pretty much locked in all weekend. I don't know if some other factors played into it or not, I know several others has problems with their cooks as well. All I know is that for some reason my brisket stalled at 155 degrees for over 4 hours, that was after I pulled it and wrapped it, never had that happen for that long once its been wrapped.
That liquor raffle sure was a good time, LUCKILY I didn't win any of it, I really wanted the bottle of Johnnie Walker!! I'd have come in dead last....
