Please save the date for November 15-16, 2013 for The Mike Harris Kicking Kidney Cancer BBQ cookoff and Bullriding event at Alvin Youth Livestock Area Association! We will have bull riding, BBQ COOKOFF, Dance with The Junior Gordon Band and others, Live and Silent auction...Please come bring your Pits and cooker friends! We look forward to having you come and fill the air with BBQ smells!!!!!

$150 Entry---Brisket, Ribs, Chicken

Trophies for 1st thru 3rd
Pay outs will be for 1st & 2nd place each category

Beans (trophy only) and 50/50 Fajita cook-off for Friday night!

Mike was raised in the Alvin, Manvel area, went to Alvin High School, and participated in FFA, youth organizations and rodeo. Mike has been a hard worker all of his life but unfortunately does not have insurance at his current job and medical bills are mounting daily. All proceeds will go towards Mike’s fight against kidney cancer which has metastasized into his lungs and possibly other areas of his body. This will be a long fight, but your generosity will go a long way in easing the financial burdens.
