BBQ Cookoff and Pie Contest

When: Saturday, November 10, 2007

Where: Downtown Bastrop, Tx

Check-In: Friday, November 9, 2007; Noon

Entry Fee:
$100 per team (Any or all categories)
$10 Jackpot Beans
$10 per category (max 5 categories or $50)

Categories:
BBQ: Brisket, Pork Spare Ribs (No Baby Backs), 1/2 Chicken, Anything But
Pies: Fruit, Pecan, Chocolate, Cream, Custard
Jackpot Pinto Beans: 100% payout for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place

Winners will be announced in top 10 places in each BBQ category.
Cash prizes will be awarded to the top 3 winners in each BBQ and Pie category.
BBQ Grand Champion will be announced and awarded.
Showmanship & People's Choice awards for BBQ will be given.
All awards will be presented Saturday afternoon after the judging.

All proceeds go to Children's Advocacy Center of Bastrop.


Looks like a good one, we just sent our entry form in, haven't done a cookoff in awhile so I'm ready to get back into the saddle.
