Re: Bedford Blues Festival, First Call for Roll Call...
Unless something gets in the way, I'll be there.
Apparently DivaQ has some Canadian TV show following her around and is filming at this event or so I've heard. I know she is coming down from Canada for sure.
A.- I hope they remember to Hydrate. B.- I'll expect all you other Texans to be on your best behavior.....

Re: Bedford Blues Festival, First Call for Roll Call...
As I was mentioning to CowboyDon just the other day, I think "best behavior" for either Bedford or Grapevine, considering these cooks are "in the burbs" as opposed to small town rural cooks, is easily achievable under the protocol I have laid out:
1) no felony convictions;
2) eligible for bail pending trial;
3) treatable mental conditions in remission using prescription meds or Shiner Bock.
Oh, and Don, I did forget one thing: I am a big dog lover, but no leg humping dogs, everybody leave 'em at home. Beggers aren't so bad, but if there is anything I cannot stand with a passion, it is being legged grabbed by some hyper-yappy Brillo Hair Terrier, or cold nosed up the backside of my shorts by a Licking Pot Hound. 'nuff said.

Boots - Dont see many dogs at comps, CCA last year had alot of Service Dogs (in training) and I dont think I have ever seen dogs that well behaved, and I did see a blind dog at Meridian that well very well behaved also, but if you offered her a rib bone she would accept it. So hopefully things dont change much and we wont be dealing some out of control dogs.

That's funny, when Boots mentioned " . . .it is being legged grabbed by some hyper-yappy Brillo Hair Terrier, or cold nosed up the backside of my shorts by a Licking Pot Hound. 'nuff said."
I thought he was talkin' about Cowboy Don. The Cowboy gets real friendly and "chatty" towards the bottom of a Crown bottle.

Those Hard Cider Fireballs that yall were serving up, well lets just say they went down way to smoothly. I know one thing if I am dancing, and I was dancing I was in that zone, cause Cowboy Don doesnt dance ever. But that was one mighty fine party sir.

Cowboy Don, you'd be welcome at my place anytime. Don't kid yourself. Chilly Willy, that's another story, but if you'll vouch for him he'd be welcome too.
