Something about effort. The time that I won I went to the fridge for lunch and got out the pastrami I had done then decided to take a picture of it for the Throwdown and won.
This time although it wasn't expressly for the TD I busted my butt.
I made:
4 pastramis
2 packers
1 crown roast from a whole bone-in pork loin ( entered the picture but it didn't attract voters)
10 lb. andouille sausage (thats the AG05 picture)
10 lb. bratwurst
10 lb. German sausage
10 lb. Italian sausage.
2 pans of bread pudding.
All while entertaining my grandkids. So I only took pictures of two things but I was weary.
Still the Throwdowns are fun and I expected big things from the deputies and maybe even the sheriff hisself.

I can't speak for the other Deputies or the Sheriff
With this being the first Throwdown doing the new format and with me doing it, I wasn't sure what it was going to take to get it all done. That was my reason for not cooking for this one. Look out next Throwdown. Now if I can just improve my camera skills, so as not to embarrass myself too bad.
